Sommelier and maître d’ Walter Baumgartner not only has a waiter training, but also professional experience locally and abroad, and is with the Wiesental Hotel since 2002. Walter Baumgartner is a true wine specialist and not only by his sommelier training, but also by his practical experience in the vineyard of his father-in-law! He is also a partner in punkto wine - responsible for wine purchasing, tasting and recommendations.
Hobbies: Ski driving, cross-country skiing, ski routes, mountain hiking
Our 2nd sommelier, Johann (Johnny) Raba has cook waiter teachings and many years of professional experience in haute cuisine. After his sommelier training, he has been with the Wiesental Hotel since 2005, mainly in charge of the à la carte Restaurant.
